Concrete slabs replacement at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport

Between April 11th and 20th, eight concrete slabs were replaced at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport. The concrete was produced on site using mobile concrete bstching truck from the construction company Socotras.

A total of 80 m3 of Concretum® Q-FLASH 24/30 (30 MPa compressive strength after 24 hours) high early strength concrete was placed to replace 200 m2 of damaged concrete.

Thanks to Concretum rapid-hardening concrete the slab replacement could take place minimizing construction time and airport traffic disruption. Besides being fast, Concretum rapid-hardening concrete has excellent durability; with a life expectancy of 40 years it allows to reduce the maintance expences for the years to come.
