Founded in 2001 as a spin-off from ETH, Concretum has been involved with construction projects around the world since then as a developer and producer of high-quality rapid-hardening concretes that are easy to produce. Thanks to its excellent USPs, Concretum’s rapid-hardening concrete technology is increasingly becoming a standard for repairing large infrastructure surfaces such as motorways and runways. Not only do we supply customers around the globe with our Concretum products, we also support them throughout all project phases – for successful completion of their construction projects.

In-depth knowledge of materials technology, our own concrete laboratory in Oberglatt and a wealth of practical know-how form the basis for the award-winning success of our innovative concrete concepts. • Durable: Our renovated and upgraded infrastructure surfaces achieve significantly longer service lives and require maintenance far less frequently.
• Efficient: We drastically reduce construction and closure times, making infrastructures operational again within hours. This minimizes energy consumption, traffic diversions, and machine hours.
• Resource-conscious: Our solutions enable targeted interventions instead of replacing entire structures. Over the lifecycle, this reduces raw materials, transportation, and emissions substantially.

We pursue this commitment beyond our projects. That’s why we support the international Fair Recycling Climate Protection Project in Brazil, which recycles old refrigerators according to Swiss standards. The highly harmful F-gases are safely extracted and irreversibly destroyed before they can enter the atmosphere. At the same time, the project creates fair jobs and training opportunities for socially disadvantaged groups.
