Quick-drying concrete: Concretum® C-DRY
Concretum® C-DRY is a high-performance admixture that accelerates the concrete drying process, thereby optimizing construction timelines and improving overall project efficiency.
Application
- Generally for the manufacture of building components where rapid drying is required.
- Repair of parking garages and parking halls.
- Repair of bridges.
- Repair or new construction of concrete roadways and concrete pavements with short closure times (traffic circles, bus stops, underlays, etc.).
- Generally for concrete structures where waterproofing systems are applied.
- Replacement or repair of slab tracks in track construction.
Properties
- Concretum® C-DRY achieves a moisture content of less than 4.0 CM-% after just 48 hours. This enables further work steps to be continued more quickly, such as the application of waterproofing in bridge construction or floor structures.
- Concretum® C-DRY is easy to apply. In addition, the consistency remains constant over a long period of time.
- Concretum® C-DRY is characterized by low shrinkage and low hydration heat development. This means that components made with Concretum® C-DRY have a low tendency to crack and are extremely durable.
- Depending on the area of application, Concretum® C-DRY can also be reinforced with Concretum® SUPERFIBER®. These high-modulus polymer fibers can be used to reduce the structural reinforcement and still achieve an increased reduction in cracking.
