Q-REP G: Rapid-hardening mortar for small repairs
Concretum® Q-REP G is a rapid-hardening repair mortar based on pure cement with a maximum aggregate size of 8 mm. Therefore, with Q-REP G, particularly thin layers and, for example, repairs to minor edge breakages or smaller joint renovations are possible.
As with all of our products, Q-REP G is also characterised by its rapid hardening feature: the mortar can withstand full loads again just one hour after production. Q-REP G can be applied really easily: the drymix mortar is available in bags and is simply mixed with water in a construction site mixer.
Add another benefit: Q-REP G dries out extremely quickly. This allows further work steps, such as the application of waterproofing in bridge construction or the laying of paving in floor structures, to be completed without any lengthy interruptions. Repairs on inclines are also no problem to the rapid-hardening mortar thanks to its tough consistency. Q-REP G is also characterised by its extremely low shrinkage.
Concretum® Q-REP G is particularly suitable for:
- All types of small rapid-hardening concrete applications
- The reconstruction or repair of small concrete structures, for which rapid hardening or rapid drying is required
- Small repairs at airports (runways, taxiways and aprons)
- Small repairs on concrete infrastructure surfaces with very short closure times (e.g. motorways)
- Reconstruction of solid railway basements
