Logistics Hall in Olten, Canton of Solothurn

On August 22, 2025, rapid-hardening concrete was required for a logistics hall in Olten. A total of 12 m³ of Concretum^® Q-FLASH 2/20 was placed in the entrance area, with the objective of restoring full usability of the surface as quickly as possible and minimizing disruption to logistics operations.

The concrete was supplied by Kieswerk Aebisholz in Oensingen, located approximately 25 minutes from the project site. The open time of the rapid-hardening concrete was adjusted to 120 minutes, providing sufficient time for transport and proper placement on site.

Thanks to the rapid hardening and early strength development of our Concretum^® Q-FLASH 2/20, the area could be put back into service within a very short period of time. This project is a prime example of how high-performance rapid concrete solutions can be used efficiently and reliably in time-critical construction phases.
