SBB ÜF - Oensingen / Q-FLASH 2/20 SCC + Shrinkage reduced

The client's requirements: Reinforcement of the supports of an SBB overpass over the A1 motorway near Oensingen. As the reinforcement of the component is quite dense and the concrete layer thickness is very low, compaction is difficult. In addition, the concrete is exposed and clearly visible.

And all this during a night closure from midnight to 5 a.m.!

Concretum®'s solution: With the help of Concretum® technology and the Kieswerk Aebisholz of the Vigier Group as concrete producer, an SCC concrete with a maximum grain size of 8 mm was developed and produced that meets the client's high requirements. Concretum® Q-FLASH 2/20 Self-compacting and shrinkage-reduced!

The reinforcement of the support was carried out without any problems and was accompanied and monitored by Concretum engineers. The roadway and the SBB tracks were reopened at the planned time in each of the two installation stages, and the supports of the overpass have been repaired for the next few decades.
