Another successful installation of 90m3 Q-FLASH 2/20 at the Messeplatz in Basel

On April 8, 2025, the second stage at Messeplatz in Basel was successfully completed.
BVB is replacing old streetcar tracks there while the stops are being rebuilt at the same time.

Precise planning, precise process:

Concrete producer Karl Meyer-Spinnler AG supplied 90m3 of Q-FLASH 2/20 rapid-hardening concrete for the night-time construction site.Despite tight time frames and logistical challenges, everything went according to plan - and the concrete had sufficient strength by 4 a.m. for the tracks to be cleared and the first streetcar to be released in the morning.
