BVB (Public transport company) track maintenance in Basel

Whether it's for trains or trams, the tracks must be regularly renovated due to heavy usage. When these works take place at critical points, such as track crossings or heavily trafficked roads, there is a need to complete the work within a limited timeframe. By using rapid-hardening concrete, the downtime of train or tram lines can be minimized. In 2023, approximately 470 m³ of Concretum's rapid-hardening concrete Q-FLASH 2/20 were used for various track renovation projects commissioned by BVB, the public transport company in Basel.
