Ready-Mix Trials on IBZ Aeroport d'Eivissa

Barcelona Airport has relied on Concretum^® Q-CON for the rehabilitation and maintenance of concrete airfield pavements for many years. We are therefore particularly pleased that the first trial applications of our repair system have now also been successfully carried out at Ibiza Airport, further expanding its use within Spain. Several test sections were installed on site to demonstrate the workability, application characteristics and performance of Concretum^® Q-CON for localized concrete pavement rehabilitation. The trials focused primarily on the repair of edge spalling and other localized areas of concrete deterioration within existing pavement slabs.

The repair works were executed efficiently and demonstrated the excellent handling properties of the material. The repaired areas achieved a high-quality finish and met the performance expectations for airfield pavement maintenance. The client was highly satisfied with both the installation process and the overall performance of the Concretum^® Q-CON repair system.
